FN 509 Compact MRD Semi-Auto Pistol
FN has produced another great handgun to expand their offerings to the people. The FN 509 series are all highly accurate, reliable, and solid pistols 9mm pistols. The series includes the LS Edge, a competition ready race gun, Tactical models with threaded barrels, suppressor-high sites, optics mounting system, and high capacity magazines. The FN 509 Compact MRD adds to the capabilities of the 509 Compact with the suppressor-high sites and optics mounting system to make this handgun very competitive for concealed carry. All of the FN 509 series handguns are top quality—this was the handgun FN submitted for the Army contract—and the FN 509 Compact MRD is a great handgun. Some of the superior features are textured adjustable grips, ambidextrous magazine release and slide catch, black or FDE color, front serrated slide, and 1913 rail for lights and lasers. They are easy to disassemble and clean, and have cold hammer forged steel barrels with polished feed ramps that taper for a tight fit with the slide. The triggers have a hinged safety and have a clean crisp break. However, the trigger pull is between 5.5 to 7.7 lbs, making this a heavy pull. Some people like that since there is no slide safety. Just know it has a heavy trigger pull. Many have compared the FN 509 series with Glocks. The FN 509 is very comparable with the Glock 17. The FN 509 Midsize is very comparable to the Glock 19X or Glock 45. The FN 509 Midsize has the 4.0 inch barrel with a 5.0 inch handgrip with high capacity magazine. The FN 509 Compact is very comparable to the Glock 19. These are some of the best handguns made and either way you can’t go wrong. Want to see more? Glock 44 .22LR Pistol
One of the most popular brands in the world, Glock delivers again with a great addition to anyone new to handguns and experienced users alike. The .22 caliber offers great recoil control and a lightweight frame only weighing in at 14.64 ounces. The Glock 44 is the same size and has the same features as the Glock 19 Gen 5, which makes this handgun excellent for training without spending too much on ammunition or digging into your ammunition supplies. This is not a compact or micro pistol. It has all of the features you’d expect in a Glock to include an OEM threaded barrel (sold separately) for suppressed shooting. It has a ten round magazine, a 4 inch barrel, adjustable sites, and the same trigger as other Glocks. The Glock 44 operates with a gas blowback system for low recoil, making this 22LR pistol super fun to shoot. We have found that using subsonic ammunition without a suppressor inhibited complete cycling. We recommend using target ammunition when not shooting suppressed. The Glock 44 is a great pistol for young and old, beginners and experts, and for plinking, training, and sport shooting. Check out the Glock 44 and all available Glock products here.
